Desire To Change : Words

Assalamualaikum, in the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful,

3. Words

This kind of thing suddenly urged me to share to readers, about how we usually talk and say in conversation. The story goes when I was eating at a restaurant below my hostel, where we are sharing the place to eat with residents of Taman Cempaka. Well, as I was waiting for my roti canai to be served, there was a boy talking to his friend over a handphone. He asked his friend to come over and lunch with him. Unfortunately, the usage of his language is terribly inappropriate, lots of 'f' words and 'b' words. Masya-Allah. His conversation can be heard throughout the space of the restaurant, imagine even the cook from the kitchen and the bartender turned weirdly to see who was speaking, RUDELY.

Like he is the owner of the outlet. My ears were offended by his brave words, I felt like I need a dr. dre beats earbuds to shut my auditory canal from collecting such a bad stimulus. Seriously my friends, as a fellow normal being, and sane handsome/beautiful servants, is it really necessary to use such cursing words in our conversation?

"Do not cursing them, from what you say. And you hurt the people that live. Know the dirt tongue should be condemned." (riwayat An-Nasai dari Ibnu Abbas)

And how about politicians? Can they really cursed other parties which are not parallel with their ideologies and fight? Can or cannot? Pat your chest and ask your faith. :)

"Believers, let not a group of you mock another. Perhaps they are better than you. Let not women mock each other, perhaps one is better than other. Let not one of you find faults in another nor let anyone of you defame another. How terrible is the defamation after having true faith. Those who do not repent are certainly unjust." (49:11)

How about, instead of saying rude words, we increase our akhlak. We can say alhamdulillah, subhanallah, masya-Allah whenever we were rewarded, whenever we were tested and many other situations. Not only we get pahala, but we can cleanse our mind and have a more positive attitude, plus most importantly decrease our distance to Allah. Insya-Allah, if we are closer to Him, we can achieve almost anything. :)

A good language is a doa' to ourselves

And also, try to do your best in praying for our beloved friends, for Dr. Fadhilah Kamsah said, do pray to your friends, because praying for friends is accepted by Allah. Pray in silent also encouraged in Islam as we can educate ourselves from boast (riak) and houghtiness (takabbur). Not to forget, pray for our beloved non-muslims, to open their hearts to receive hidayah from Allah. :D

avoid using this words, my fellow friends. :)

"O Allah, do decorate us with good akhlak and wise speech, as we want to be a good Muslims and shield us from bad influence which ever might threaten our aqidah."

my prayer, what's your?

 true indeed.

Cair tahi telinga dengar carutan2 anda... huh..

Illaliqa'. Wassalam.
